Notably, William Karlsson also made his mark by scoring once during regular play time which contributed directly to pushing the game into overtime. His efforts were complemented by goalie Adin Hill's remarkable performance between the pipes; Hill saved 16 out of 19 shots on goal ensuring that Vegas stayed competitive throughout regulation time and beyond.


On defense, Alex Pietrangelo stood out not just for his time on ice but also for maintaining a positive plus-minus rating which underscored his effectiveness during critical moments of play. Additionally, Noah Hanifin emerged as an instrumental figure not only defensively but also by contributing significantly on offense which is reflected in his three-point night (one goal and two assists).
