Player Performances


Eichel's performance was notable not just for his scoring but also for his leadership on ice as he logged over 20 minutes of playtime. Ivan Barbashev also made an impact by scoring once from his only shot attempt during his nearly 15 minutes on ice. Alexander Holtz added to Vegas' efforts with an assist and maintained a neutral plus-minus rating throughout his time on ice.


For Carolina, Jordan Staal emerged as one of the stars of this encounter thanks to both his offensive contribution and defensive play which earned him recognition as one of the game's top players alongside Kochetkov.
