The Golden Knights displayed a strong performance during the second period by scoring two goals and adding another in the third. However, their efforts were overshadowed by the Predators' consistent scoring across all three periods. The home team managed to net two goals in both the first and second periods and sealed their victory with one more goal in the third.

On defense, despite facing challenges throughout the game that reflected in their minus ratings across several players such as Zach Whitecloud at minus three and Alex Pietrangelo at minus two; some positives were noted too. Brayden McNabb was active defensively contributing hits while maintaining an even plus-minus rating.
