Golden Knights' Performance

The Golden Knights managed to score twice during the game but struggled defensively against a relentless Wild attack. Reilly Smith and Alex Pietrangelo were notable contributors for Vegas, each scoring one goal. Smith's goal came from one of his three shots on target, showcasing his efficiency with a shooting percentage of 33 percent. Pietrangelo also made an impact with two shots and a shooting percentage of 50 percent.

Vegas had difficulty maintaining possession and control throughout the game, as evidenced by their eight giveaways compared to Minnesota's twelve takeaways. The team also faced challenges in penalty situations; they were unable to capitalize on any powerplay opportunities despite having nine shots on goal during these moments.
