First Period


In the first period, the Golden Knights struggled to find their rhythm as they faced an aggressive Oilers team. Despite having 23 shots on goal throughout the game, none found their way past Edmonton's goaltender Stuart Skinner. The Oilers capitalized on their opportunities early on and scored twice during this period. Adam Henrique was instrumental for Edmonton with his offensive play that set up crucial goals.


Second Period


The second period saw continued efforts from Vegas as they tried to close the gap created by Edmonton's lead. However, despite multiple powerplay opportunities and attempts from players like Jack Eichel and Mark Stone, who each had significant time on ice but couldn't convert these into points for Vegas. Meanwhile, Evander Kane added another goal for Edmonton during this period which further solidified their lead.

Third Period


As they entered into third period action without any goals yet scored by themselfs ,the pressure was mounting on Vegas' side . They maintained defensive plays with Brayden McNabb contributing three hits while Adin Hill made several saves totaling up to twenty-nine across all periods . Unfortunately ,the offensive breakthrough needed did not materialize leaving them scoreless against an effective opposition defense line-up led by Stuart Skinner’s performance between posts .
