First Period


The first period saw both teams finding the back of the net once each. Reilly Smith opened the scoring for Vegas with a precise shot that set the tone for his standout performance throughout the game. The Sharks responded quickly with Jeff Skinner leveling things up for San Jose.


Second Period

As tensions rose in the third period, it was Brett Howden who stepped up for Vegas by scoring another crucial goal to give them a slight edge over their opponents. Yet again, San Jose's resilience shone through as they tied it up thanks to another effort from Skinner.


Overtime


The overtime period proved decisive when Shea Theodore assisted on an exhilarating winning goal scored by Pavel Dorofeyev that sealed victory for Vegas Golden Knights vs San Jose Sharks final score of 4-3 after intense competition between these two rivals.
