Player Performances


Several Capitals players put forth commendable efforts despite falling short. Tom Wilson and Trevor van Riemsdyk each contributed an assist, playing crucial roles in keeping their team competitive throughout this tightly contested match. Additionally, John Carlson displayed solid defensive play by contributing hits and blocking shots to prevent further goals from Colorado.


On Colorado's side, goaltender Alexandar Georgiev was awarded star player status after stopping 28 out of 29 shots directed at him. His performance was pivotal for his team as it allowed them to maintain their lead once they gained it.
