Defensive Dominance & Goalkeeping Brilliance


On defense, Connor Hellebuyck was nearly impenetrable between the pipes for Winnipeg. Recording an astounding 43 saves on 44 shots faced from Minnesota players underscored Hellebuyck's crucial role in securing this win for his team. This performance not only highlighted his goaltending prowess but also earned him one of three stars of the game honors.


The defensive unit as a whole played cohesively to limit Minnesota’s scoring opportunities while successfully blocking 17 shots throughout all periods which further solidified their defensive front.
