Powerplay Performance

The Jets showcased their powerplay capabilities by scoring both of their goals during man advantages. Nino Niederreiter and Cole Perfetti were instrumental in capitalizing on these opportunities, each netting a goal for Winnipeg. Niederreiter's precision was evident as he scored with his only shot on goal, maintaining a perfect shooting percentage for this match.

Despite these efforts, Winnipeg struggled to find success during even-strength play and failed to score any goals under such circumstances. Their inability to convert during regular play was compounded by an aggressive defense from St. Louis that blocked nine of their shots.

Blues' Dominance

On the other side of the ice, St. Louis demonstrated dominance throughout even-strength situations by scoring all five of their goals without any powerplay assistance. Philip Broberg stood out as a key player for the Blues with his defensive prowess and offensive contributions that helped secure victory for his team.

The Blue Note's goaltender played an essential role in maintaining their lead by saving 21 out of 23 shots faced from Winnipeg's offense – effectively shutting down numerous attempts made by players like Kyle Connor who managed three shots but could not find success beyond assisting one goal.
