First Period

Third Period


In what turned out to be a decisive third period, Evan Bouchard stepped up for Edmonton with key defensive maneuvers that stifled Winnipeg's attempts at regaining control. The Oilers scored twice more during this period while maintaining pressure on Winnipeg’s defense line-up.


Despite valiant efforts from players like Neal Pionk and Adam Lowry who contributed defensively throughout all periods, it wasn't enough to stop Edmonton’s late surge which sealed their victory over Winnipeg.
