Mitch Spence

Mitch Spence (born May 6, 1998, in Kirkland, Washington) is a right-handed pitcher whose primary position is relief pitcher. He attended Green Hope High School in North Carolina and played college baseball at USC-Aiken. Spence was selected in the 10th round (pick 28) of the 2019 MLB Draft by the Kansas City Royals. Spence made his MLB debut on March 29, 2024. In the 2024 regular season with the Athletics, he logged 151.1 innings across 35 games, including 24 starts.
