Shawn Dubin

Shawn Dubin (born September 6, 1995, in Allegany, New York) is a right-handed pitcher who has worked primarily as a relief pitcher in the majors. He attended Allegany-Limestone High School in New York and played college baseball at Georgetown (KY). Dubin was selected by the Houston Astros in the 13th round of the 2018 MLB Draft (pick 28 in that round). Dubin’s MLB Debut Date was June 19, 2023. In the 2024 regular season with Houston, he appeared in 31 games (2 starts), logging 45.1 innings with a 4.169 ERA and 49 strikeouts (9.729 K/9). His run estimators were notable: a 3.717 FIP and 4.291 xFIP, alongside a 1.566 WHIP.
