Tyler Freeman

Tyler Freeman (born May 21, 1999, in Rancho Cucamonga, California) is a right-handed hitter and thrower who has played primarily as a right fielder while also logging time at second base and center field. He attended Etiwanda High School in California and was selected by the Cleveland organization in the 2nd round of the 2017 MLB Draft (pick 4). Freeman’s MLB debut date was August 3, 2022. In the 2024 regular season with Cleveland, he appeared in 118 games and posted a .209 batting average with a .305 on-base percentage and .626 OPS, totaling 7 home runs, 32 RBI, and 11 stolen bases. His 2024 plate-discipline and batted-ball markers included 53 strikeouts in 330 at-bats and a .227 BABIP.
