However, recent performances have left much to be desired from this storied franchise. A glaring example was their last game against the Golden State Warriors on October 18, 2024, where they suffered a heavy defeat, scoring only 74 points against the Warriors' dominating 132 points. The statistics from that game paint a grim picture: a mere 34 percent field goal success rate and an alarming turnover count of 28 significantly contributed to their downfall. Despite grabbing 50 rebounds and making seven three-pointers, their efforts were not enough to counteract their inefficiencies.
