In their last game against the Boston Celtics, despite a strong start with 30 points in the first quarter, the 76ers struggled offensively throughout the rest of the match. They ended up losing with a final score of 99-117. Their field goal percentage was just 39 percent and from beyond the arc, they shot only 33 percent. However, one positive takeaway was their free throw accuracy which stood at an impressive 92 percent.

The previous home game saw them face off against Milwaukee Bucks where they were narrowly defeated by a score of 98-119. The team's shooting percentages were below par with only a 37 percent success rate from field goals and again shooting just over one-third from three-point range at a rate of exactly that - one third.

However, it wasn't all doom and gloom for Philly as before that loss they secured a win over Cleveland Cavaliers with an encouraging scoreline of 104-97. In this game, they showed better control and execution on both ends of the court with an improved field goal percentage at around mid-forties and three-point shooting standing strong at approximately two-fifths.

The upcoming game is crucial for Philadelphia as consistency has been eluding them lately. They need to tighten up defensively as well; in both losses mentioned above, opponents scored well above what is comfortable - indicating potential issues on that end of the floor.

Fans can expect head coach Doc Rivers to make adjustments aimed at improving ball movement and creating more open shots while also emphasizing defensive resilience against a Knicks team that will be looking to capitalize on any signs of weakness.
