Game Highlights

The game was intense from start to finish at Scotiabank Saddledome. The Flames took an early lead in the first period and maintained their momentum throughout the game. The Canucks managed to find the back of the net once in the third period thanks to their power play efforts which saw them converting one out of two opportunities. This goal marked a critical moment for Vancouver as they attempted to rally back into contention.

On defense, goaltender Kevin Lankinen showcased his skills with an impressive performance between the pipes for Vancouver, saving 26 out of 28 shots faced during regular play before Calgary secured their final goal on an empty net. Despite Lankinen's efforts and Vancouver's aggressive play that led to 29 hits and blocked 16 shots, it wasn't enough to overcome Calgary's offense.
