The Blue Jays struggled to find their rhythm offensively throughout the game, managing only five hits and committing one error. Their scoring efforts were concentrated in the fourth and seventh innings where they managed to push across one run in each inning. Despite these efforts, their batting average stood at .167 for the game with an on-base percentage (OBP) of .278 and slugging percentage (SLG) at .200.

Vladimir Guerrero Jr., playing first base for the Blue Jays, was one bright spot in their lineup. He hit .500 for the game and reached base three out of four times he came up to bat, contributing significantly to his team's OBP with his performance. Daulton Varsho also made notable contributions by driving in one run and maintaining an average of .250 along with an OPS (on-base plus slugging) of .750.

On the pitching side, Chris Bassitt started for Toronto but encountered challenges against a strong Orioles lineup. Bassitt's ERA ballooned to 11.25 after allowing five earned runs over four innings pitched which contributed significantly to his team's difficulties on defense.

The Orioles capitalized on their opportunities by collecting eleven hits throughout the night. Their offensive output was particularly potent during the third inning when they scored three runs to take control of the game early on.
