However, despite these stellar individual performances, team-wide issues became apparent as Toronto struggled to fully exploit scoring opportunities throughout much innings particularly during pivotal moments late in the game where they managed two runs in the eighth inning followed by another single run in extra innings but fell short against Atlanta's steadfast defense.
