Mason Fluharty took charge on the mound for Toronto with an impressive performance that saw him maintain an earned run average of 1.5 and a walks plus hits per inning pitched (WHIP) of 1.0 over his six innings of work. His command was evident as he struck out five batters while allowing only one walk.


Toronto's bullpen continued this trend of dominance, with Bowden Francis stepping up in relief and earning his first win of the season. He pitched three innings without conceding any runs or hits, maintaining a WHIP of just 0.3333 during his outing.

Offensive Highlights


While pitching stole much of the spotlight, there were notable contributions from Toronto's offense as well. Will Wagner stood out among hitters with his remarkable .667 batting average and an on-base plus slugging (OPS) rate of 1.334 in this matchup against Seattle’s pitchers.


Alejandro Kirk also made significant contributions at bat by achieving a .500 batting average across two at-bats along with one hit which helped set up scoring opportunities for teammates like Anthony Santander who drove home one crucial run during playtime today!
