First Inning

The opening inning set a cautious tone for both teams as neither managed to score. The Blue Birds showed solid defense, preventing any early advances from the Rayhawks. Both pitchers were focused and kept their opponents at bay.

Third Inning

The third inning saw an offensive burst from both sides. The Jays managed to put up 2 runs on the board thanks to timely hits by Bo Bichette and Vladimir Guerrero Jr., who capitalized on scoring opportunities with runners in position. However, this was countered by a strong response from Tampa Bay, who scored 4 runs through strategic hitting and exploiting gaps in Toronto's defense.

Eighth Inning

As the game progressed into its later stages, tension mounted with each pitch. By the eighth inning, Toronto found themselves trailing but not without hope. A rally led by George Springer helped narrow the gap as he contributed significantly with his bat and presence on base paths.

Ninth Inning

In a dramatic ninth inning showdown, both teams displayed resilience under pressure. The Birds clawed back into contention with another surge of offense that added two more runs to their tally; however, it wasn't enough as Tampa Bay held firm defensively despite facing intense pressure from Toronto’s lineup.
