First Inning

The opening inning saw both teams struggling to find their rhythm. Neither team managed to score, setting a cautious tone for what would become an intense battle. The Jays were unable to capitalize on any opportunities, leaving fans eagerly anticipating more action in subsequent innings.

Fourth Inning

The fourth inning marked a turning point as the White Sox broke through with their first run of the game. With two hits in this inning, they managed to put pressure on Toronto's defense. Despite this early setback, Toronto's pitching staff held strong and limited further damage.

Fifth Inning

Toronto responded in kind during the fifth inning when they finally got on board with one run from three hits. This effort was spearheaded by Bo Bichette who continued his consistent performance from previous games with an impressive .400 average and .8 OPS over four at-bats.

Seventh Inning

As tension mounted in the seventh inning, both teams remained locked in a tight contest. The Blue Birds added another run thanks to strategic hitting and solid base running but were still trailing behind Chicago’s lead.

Eighth Inning

The eighth inning proved decisive as Chicago capitalized on errors by Toronto’s bullpen which allowed them three additional runs off two hits and one error committed by Toronto's fielders. This surge extended their lead significantly making it difficult for Toronto to mount any comeback efforts despite having eight total hits throughout nine innings of play.

Ninth Inning

In what became an uphill battle during ninth-inning playtime; although managing another hit - ultimately fell short against resilient pitching from Chicago’s side sealing victory away from home turf advantage enjoyed earlier within match duration itself!
