First Inning

The game began with both teams struggling to find their rhythm offensively. The Blue Jays managed only one hit in the first inning, setting an early tone for what would be a challenging day at bat. Meanwhile, Miami's defense held strong, preventing any runs from crossing home plate.

Third Inning

By the third inning, Miami took advantage of their opportunities and scored their first run with three hits. This gave them an early lead and put pressure on Toronto's pitching staff to respond effectively.

Fifth Inning

The fifth inning proved pivotal as Miami extended their lead by scoring three more runs off three hits. This surge was aided by Toronto's pitching struggles and defensive lapses that allowed Miami to capitalize on key moments.

Seventh Inning

Toronto finally found some momentum in the seventh inning when they scored all three of their runs through two hits including a home run. This offensive burst brought them back into contention but ultimately wasn't enough to close the gap entirely against Miami’s solid pitching and defense.

Ninth Inning

In what could have been another opportunity for Toronto to turn things around, they were unable to generate any further offense during this final stretch as Miami closed out strong defensively ensuring no additional runs were conceded.
