Seventh Inning


Cleveland attempted a comeback in the seventh inning when they scored their only run of the game. Despite this effort by José Ramírez and company, they struggled against Cincinnati’s bullpen which maintained composure under pressure.

Ninth Inning


As the game reached its final stages in the ninth inning, both teams tightened up defensively but neither could alter their scores further. The Reds’ pitching staff effectively closed out any opportunities for Cleveland to mount a late rally.
