White Sox Shut Out by Angels in Pitcher's Duel at Tempe Diablo
The Chicago White Sox, with a record of 8-18, faced off against the Los Angeles Angels who held a 13-13 record in a game that ended in a 2-0 defeat for the visiting team. The White Sox were unable to score throughout the nine innings, despite accumulating five hits and maintaining an error-free performance.

On the other side of the diamond, Los Angeles capitalized on their opportunities scoring two runs off five hits as well. Their pitchers managed to keep Chicago's batters in check while also posting zero errors defensively.
