Despite these perfect conditions, the White Sox struggled offensively throughout the nine innings. They managed to accumulate six hits but failed to convert any into runs. The team's batting average was .194 for this game, significantly lower than their expectations.

On the defensive side, the White Sox encountered challenges as well. They committed two errors over the course of the game which contributed to some of the runs scored by the Guardians. The fielding percentage stood at .952, reflecting these missteps.

The pitching staff for both teams had moments of effectiveness and struggle. For instance, Michael Soroka from Chicago took on most of this challenge but ended up recording his fifth loss of the season after giving up four earned runs out of five total during his time on mound.

Conversely, Logan Allen from Cleveland showcased an impressive performance leading him to secure his fourth win against two losses this season. His pitching helped keep White Sox hitters at bay and played a crucial role in securing victory for his team.
