The Brooklyn Nets dominated on their home court at Barclays Center, leading for over three-quarters of the game with a time leading mark of 44:07. The team's efficiency rating soared to 139, outpacing the Thunder's respectable but lower rating of 128. A key factor in this matchup was Brooklyn's ability to capitalize on opportunities, as evidenced by their bench contributing a significant 43 points.

Brooklyn also excelled in rebounding, grabbing a total of 56 rebounds compared to Oklahoma City's count of 46. Of those, an impressive number were offensive rebounds for the Nets, amounting to 20 which helped them maintain possession and control the pace. Their defensive efforts were not overshadowed either; they managed nine steals throughout the game.

The three-point line was another area where Brooklyn shone brightly; they made good on their attempts with an accuracy rate rounding up to about one-third success rate (36 percent), sinking fourteen shots from beyond the arc. Free throw proficiency was also notable for Brooklyn as they achieved an excellent completion rate rounding up to about eighty-five percent (85 percent).

On offense, both teams performed admirably but it was Brooklyn who had better execution overall – converting more than half (52 percent) of their two-point attempts into made baskets and scoring nearly fifty points (48) in paint plays.

Looking ahead after this high-scoring affair, fans can catch the next action-packed game featuring their beloved Brooklyn Nets as they host Portland Trail Blazers at Barclays Center on January seventh at three o'clock PM Eastern Time.
