At the Barclays Center, fans were treated to an offensive showcase as both teams lit up the scoreboard. The Nets started strong with a dominant third quarter performance, racking up 41 points which was their highest-scoring period of the game. Despite this surge and leading for over 41 minutes of playtime, they couldn't maintain their momentum through to overtime.

The home team's statistics reflected their offensive efforts; they shot an impressive 50 percent from the field and an even more remarkable 59 percent from within two-point range. From beyond the arc, they made 38 percent of their attempts. Their free throw accuracy was also noteworthy at an excellent rate of 84 percent.

Brooklyn's players showed great synergy on court with a total of 29 assists throughout the game. They also demonstrated defensive skills by blocking seven shots and stealing seven times from their opponents. However, turnovers were a concern for them as they gave up possession on sixteen occasions.

Portland also had balanced contributions across its roster with bench players chipping in with thirty-nine points compared to Brooklyn's thirty-eight bench points. Both teams showed similar rebounding numbers; however, Portland slightly edged out Brooklyn with fifty-three rebounds over fifty-two.
