Second Quarter

As the second quarter unfolded, Brooklyn continued its attempts to close the gap but only added 22 points compared to Houston's 27. Despite Ziaire Williams' notable performance contributing significantly on defense with five steals and scoring 14 points overall in this period, it wasn't enough for a comeback. The Nets' shooting accuracy was challenged as they hit just 45 percent of their field goals during this stretch.

Third Quarter

The third quarter saw a more aggressive approach from both sides. However, it was Red Nation that dominated by scoring an impressive 37 points against Brooklyn's 25. Day'Ron Sharpe showed his versatility by adding eight rebounds and seven assists throughout his time on court but couldn't prevent Houston from extending their lead further.

Fourth Quarter

In the final quarter of play, despite Cam Thomas leading all scorers for Brooklyn with a total of 21 points in this game and Noah Clowney adding defensive pressure through two blocks earlier in playtime; it wasn't sufficient against H-Town’s consistent offense which sealed their victory by finishing strong at another high-scoring mark – leaving no room for any late-game heroics from Borough players who ended up tallying only another set of modest numbers: scoring just under thirty (29) before time expired.
