Brooklyn Nets bench surge steers Memphis Grizzlies game at Barclays Center

The Brooklyn Nets moved to 17-47 after a 126-115 result over the Memphis Grizzlies, who fell to 23-40 at 7:30 PM EDT at Barclays Center.

First quarter


The Brooklyn Nets opened with 33 points in the first quarter while the Memphis Grizzlies scored 31 points.


The Nets hit 55 percent from the field for the game and turned early offense into 27 points off turnovers as the Grizzlies finished with 15 turnovers.


The Grizzlies worked inside for 50 points in the paint in the game, while the Borough answered with 56 paint points.


Second quarter


The Nets added 32 points in the second quarter and carried 35 assists for the game to keep possessions flowing.

Fourth quarter


The Nets closed with 35 fourth-quarter points while Memphis scored 29 points in the quarter, and Brooklyn led for 37:25 of game time.


Day'Ron Sharpe logged 19 points in the previous game, and Brooklyn’s bench totaled 67 points to separate from a Memphis bench that produced 40 points.
