First quarter


The Brooklyn Nets opened with 27 points while the Detroit Pistons dropped 38 points.


The Nets hit 13 three-pointers on 34 percent, and Detroit answered with 16 makes on 50 percent from deep.


Michael Porter Jr. posted 19 points, and the Pistons finished the night with 36 assists.


Second quarter


The Nets scored 13 points in the second quarter, and Detroit added 35 to take control.


Brooklyn finished at 42 percent from the field, and Motor City shot 56 percent.

Third quarter


Brooklyn put up 33 points in the third quarter, and Detroit countered with 32 in a steady exchange.
