Bulls Face Setback at American Airlines Center Against Undefeated Mavericks

In a closely contested game at the American Airlines Center, the Chicago Bulls fell to the Dallas Mavericks with a final score of 114-105. The Bulls now hold a record of 2-3, while the Mavericks continue their winning streak with a flawless 4-0 record.

The Bulls started off trailing in the first quarter by three points but managed to close the gap slightly by halftime. They showed resilience and outscored their opponents in the third quarter, putting up 33 points against the Mavericks' 32. However, it was not enough to secure victory as they were outpaced in the final quarter.


Chicago's offense was led by impressive field goal shooting at 47 percent and an even more remarkable free throw percentage of nearly 91 percent. The team also excelled inside, scoring a dominant 54 points in paint from an efficient shooting percentage of about 73 percent. From beyond the arc, they shot at a rate of approximately one-third successful attempts.

Defensively, Chicago managed to block three shots and steal possession ten times throughout the game. They also drew eleven fouls which contributed to their high free throw success rate but ultimately struggled on defense allowing Dallas to score over half their attempts from two-point range.


The bench played an integral role for Chicago contributing thirty-six points but it was not enough against Dallas' forty-four bench points. The biggest lead held by Chicago during this encounter was six points and they spent just over fifteen minutes ahead on scoreboard time.

On Dallas' side, they showcased strong offensive capabilities with twenty-three assists and seven steals while making forty-one percent of their three-point attempts which contributed significantly to maintaining their lead throughout most of this match-up.


Looking ahead for Chicago Bulls fans, attention turns toward an upcoming home game against Brooklyn Nets scheduled for November fourth at eight PM Central Time at United Center in Chicago where fans can catch action live on NBCS-CHI channel six hundred sixty-five or YES channel six hundred thirty-one for away supporters.
