Second Quarter

In the second quarter, the pace slowed down for Chicago as they managed only 20 points against Miami's 28. This period highlighted some defensive lapses from Chi that allowed Flash to extend their lead. Despite efforts from players like Nikola Vučević and Coby White, who contributed significantly in rebounds and assists respectively, Chi struggled to close the gap before halftime.

Third Quarter

The third quarter brought a resurgence for Chi as they outscored Flash with a notable performance of 34 points compared to Miami’s 29. Ayo Dosunmu emerged as a key player during this stretch with his dynamic playmaking abilities and scoring prowess that kept Chi within striking distance of reclaiming control of the game.

Fourth Quarter

Entering into the final quarter, both teams were neck-and-neck in what became an intense battle on court. Although Chi scored an impressive 28 points in this segment, it was not enough to overcome Flash’s consistent performance throughout all quarters. Notably, Josh Giddey’s contributions were crucial but ultimately fell short against Flash’s robust defense which included pivotal steals and blocks that sealed their win.

As fans look forward to more action-packed games ahead, mark your calendars for January 31st when CHI will take on MIA once again at Kaseya Center in Miami at 8:00 PM EDT. Catch all live coverage on FDSSUN or CHSN networks.
