The Warriors showcased their offensive capabilities throughout the game, particularly from beyond the arc where they connected on 19 of their 48 three-point attempts, translating to an impressive 40 percent success rate. Their efforts were bolstered by an efficient passing game that resulted in a total of 32 assists. The home team's tenacity was evident as they fought for every ball, grabbing a total of 54 rebounds—16 of which came offensively.

Despite trailing behind in scoring for most of the match, the Warriors managed to take control briefly and achieved their biggest lead at four points. They also excelled in fast-break situations matching their opponents with eight successful attempts out of twelve and accumulating twenty fast-break points.

On defense, Golden State made its presence felt by stealing possession from Dallas eight times and blocking three attempted shots by their adversaries. However, they struggled to contain Dallas' offense which operated at an effective field goal percentage of sixty-five percent.

The Mavericks demonstrated why they are one of the formidable teams this season with an efficient shooting performance across all fronts: fifty-six percent from field goals including forty percent from three-point range and eighty-two percent from free throws. Their dominance was further highlighted by scoring forty-four points inside the paint and adding twenty-one fast-break points to keep pressure on Golden State's defense.

Dallas' bench played a significant role contributing forty-six bench points compared to thirty-seven from Golden State's reserves. The visitors also capitalized on turnovers better than their hosts did; scoring fifteen points off turnovers while limiting Golden State to ten.
