At the Chase Center in San Francisco, the home crowd witnessed an offensive masterclass by the Pelicans. The visitors exploded out of the gates with an impressive 46 points in the first quarter and maintained their scoring prowess throughout the game. They shot an exceptional 57 percent from the field and a remarkable 48 percent from beyond the arc, sinking 19 three-pointers.

The Pelicans' efficiency was on full display as they racked up a total of 37 assists while turning over the ball just 11 times, showcasing their ability to share and take care of basketball. Their dominance was further highlighted by their bench contributing a significant 62 points to their cause.

In contrast, despite playing on their home court, Golden State struggled to find rhythm against a formidable opponent. They managed only four steals and were outrebounded by New Orleans who grabbed a total of 51 rebounds compared to Golden State's tally of 47.

Golden State's shooting percentages paled in comparison to those of New Orleans; they shot only 44 percent from field goals and were less effective from long range with just a mere success rate of around one-third for three-pointers made. Moreover, turnovers proved costly for them as they gave up possession on seventeen occasions which translated into twenty-four points for New Orleans off those turnovers.

One bright spot for Golden State was their free throw accuracy where they made approximately eight out of every ten attempts but this silver lining was not enough to change their fortunes on this occasion.

Looking ahead after this tough loss at home, Golden State Warriors fans can turn their attention towards an upcoming challenge as their team is set to face off against Chicago Bulls at United Center. This encounter is scheduled for January twelve o'clock seven PM Central Time (CT). Fans eager not miss any action can tune into NBCS-BA or NBCS-CHI depending on location for live coverage.
