At FedExForum in Memphis, the Golden State Warriors showcased their offensive skills but couldn't secure victory against the Grizzlies. The Warriors started strong with a first-quarter lead of 29 points to the Grizzlies' 23. They maintained their scoring pace into the second quarter adding another 27 points to their tally. The third quarter saw them notch up an additional 30 points but they slowed down in the fourth quarter with only 21 points.

The Warriors demonstrated efficient shooting throughout the game with an overall field goal percentage of 49 and were particularly effective from two-point range hitting at a rate of 58 percent. From beyond the arc, they managed to convert ten out of thirty-one attempts resulting in a three-point shooting percentage of approximately 32 percent. Their free throw performance was impressive as well; they made nine out of ten from the line which translates to a stellar free throw percentage rounding up to about ninety percent.

Despite these solid offensive numbers, turnovers proved costly for Golden State as they gave up possession nineteen times which led to thirteen points for Memphis off those turnovers. On defense, while managing six blocks and four steals during playtime, they allowed one hundred sixteen points against them.

Golden State's bench contributed significantly with thirty-five bench points while also dominating inside by scoring sixty-two paint points on fifty-one attempts (approximately sixty-one percent). Rebounding was another area where Golden State excelled pulling down fifty-six rebounds – forty-five personal and eleven team rebounds – including seven on offense which helped them score sixteen second-chance points.

On Memphis's side, despite lower overall field goal (37 percent) and two-point percentages (38 percent), their three-point shooting was decisive as they made twenty out of fifty-four attempts giving them approximately thirty-seven percent from downtown. They also capitalized on free throws making thirty-two out of forty attempted shots translating into an eighty-percent success rate at the line.

Memphis had fewer turnovers than Golden State with thirteen total turnovers but managed more steals totaling thirteen for that aspect of defense leading directly to thirty turnover-derived points for themselves. Additionally noteworthy is that both teams had similar rebounding numbers; however, Memphis edged out slightly less with fifty-three total rebounds – forty-two personal and eleven team rebounds – including eleven offensive boards contributing thirteen second-chance points.

As fans look ahead after this tough loss on foreign ground, attention turns back towards support for The Golden State Warriors who will be playing away again against Utah Jazz at Delta Center located in Salt Lake City on January seventeenth scheduled for six o'clock PM Pacific Time zone broadcasted live where fans can tune in eagerly awaiting their next performance.
