Warriors Outpaced by Celtics' Offensive Onslaught at TD Garden

On defense, Golden State managed only three blocks and two steals over four quarters of play while committing thirteen personal fouls. Their defensive efforts were overshadowed by Boston’s ten steals and five blocks which contributed significantly to their control over game flow and tempo.
Offensively for Golden State, ball movement resulted in twenty-four assists but was marred by seventeen turnovers which translated into just eight points off turnovers for them. In contrast, Boston capitalized on these opportunities scoring fifteen off turnovers themselves.
The Warriors did find some success inside painting where they scored fifty-eight paint-points on sixty-four percent shooting from that area; however these numbers paled when compared against Celtic’s offensive efficiency across all fronts including an outstanding three-point percentage of approximately fifty-one percent on forty-nine attempts.
