Can the Golden State Warriors Outmaneuver the Toronto Raptors at Scotiabank Arena?

The Golden State Warriors, with a record of 19-20, faced off against the Toronto Raptors, standing at 9-31, in a closely contested game that ended with a final score of 101-104. Despite their efforts, the Warriors could not secure a win on the road.

Game Highlights


The game was marked by intense competition and notable performances from both teams. The Golden State Warriors showcased their skills with a total of 101 points scored throughout the game. Stephen Curry led the team with an impressive 26 points, complemented by seven assists and seven rebounds. Andrew Wiggins also made significant contributions with 20 points and three rebounds. Kyle Anderson added to the tally with an efficient performance, scoring 13 points on an astonishing field goal percentage of 80 percent.


On defense, the Warriors managed to accumulate four blocks and eleven steals over four quarters. Their ability to draw fouls was evident as they drew eighteen fouls while committing only fourteen personal fouls themselves.

Opposition's Response


The Toronto Raptors answered back strongly, putting up a total of 104 points against the Warriors. Their offense was spearheaded by effective shooting from both inside and beyond the arc, achieving a field goal percentage of 48 percent overall. The home team excelled in paint scoring fifty points and capitalized on second-chance opportunities to add thirteen more to their score.


Defensively, Toronto outperformed Golden State in terms of blocks with nine compared to Golden State's four but fell short in steals where they managed only three against Golden State's eleven.
