Golden State Warriors' Effort Falls Short Against Atlanta Hawks at State Farm Arena

In a closely contested matchup, the Golden State Warriors, with a record of 41-30, faced off against the Atlanta Hawks, who came into the game with a 34-36 record. Despite a valiant effort from both sides, the final score read 115-124 in favor of the Hawks.

Warriors' Key Performances


The Golden State Warriors showcased their skills and determination throughout the game. Brandin Podziemski stood out with an impressive performance, scoring 19 points alongside four assists and eight rebounds. His shooting was notable for its efficiency from beyond the arc where he hit 62 percent of his three-point attempts. Moses Moody also made significant contributions with 20 points, five assists, and four rebounds; his field goal percentage was an efficient 54 percent.


Jimmy Butler III led the team in scoring with 25 points and added eight assists and four rebounds to his tally. His performance was crucial in keeping the Warriors competitive throughout the contest. Additionally, Jonathan Kuminga contributed significantly with 16 points.

Hawks Take Flight


On the other side of the court, The Atlanta Hawks demonstrated why they are formidable opponents at home by putting up a strong offensive display that saw them leading for most of the game. Their bench played a pivotal role in their victory by contributing an impressive total of 49 points to their overall score.


The Hawks were particularly dominant inside, scoring 60 points in paint compared to The Warriors' 44. This inside presence was complemented by their ability to convert on fast-break opportunities where they scored 19 points at a conversion rate of seventy-three percent.
