First Quarter

The Warriors set an early tone by scoring 39 points in the first quarter. Stephen Curry led the charge with his signature three-point shooting, contributing significantly to Golden State's early lead. The Dubs' defense also played a crucial role, limiting Denver's opportunities and forcing turnovers.

Second Quarter

In the second quarter, both teams displayed offensive firepower. The Nugs managed to score 40 points; however, it was not enough to close the gap as Golden State maintained their momentum by adding another 37 points. Moses Moody was instrumental during this period, showcasing his efficiency from beyond the arc and helping maintain a steady lead for his team.

Third Quarter

The third quarter saw a shift in dynamics as Denver attempted a comeback by scoring 34 points while holding Golden State to just 19. Despite this surge from Denver, Brandin Podziemski's playmaking abilities kept the Warriors afloat with crucial assists that prevented further damage.

Fourth Quarter

In the final quarter of play, Golden State regained control and sealed their victory by outscoring Denver once more with a decisive performance on both ends of the court. Al Horford contributed defensively while Gary Payton II added valuable steals that thwarted any late-game heroics from Nikola Jokić or other key players on Denver’s roster.

Golden State Warriors vs Denver Nuggets key moments included strategic ball movement resulting in an impressive assist-to-turnover ratio of nearly three-to-one for Golden State compared to one-and-a-half for Denver—a testament to their disciplined execution throughout all four quarters.
