In a challenging encounter at the Delta Center, the Pacers struggled to contain a high-scoring Jazz offense. Despite putting up 105 points themselves, defensive lapses allowed their opponents to surge ahead with an impressive 132 points. The Pacers' effort was evident in their offensive output as they distributed well with 27 assists and fought hard on the boards grabbing a total of 49 rebounds.

Indiana's scoring was consistent across all four quarters, posting tallies of 26 in both the first and fourth periods and peaking with 29 points in the third. However, this steady production was overshadowed by Utah's explosive third quarter where they racked up an imposing 41 points. The Pacers' bench contributed significantly to their point total with a commendable effort resulting in 42 bench points.

On defense, Indiana managed to block four shots and came away with nine steals but still found themselves trailing throughout the game without ever taking the lead. They also drew fouls effectively leading to them attempting free throws on which they capitalized by making an efficient rate of them at an eighty percent clip.

From beyond the arc, their three-point shooting hovered around twenty-nine percent as they made nine from thirty-one attempts.
