Can Pacers' Paint Dominance and Sharp Shooting Overwhelm Clippers at Crypto.com Arena?

The Indiana Pacers notched a commanding victory over the LA Clippers with a final score of 133-116. The Pacers improved their season record to 41-32, while the Clippers fell to 44-27. The game showcased Indiana's offensive efficiency, as they led for nearly half an hour and achieved their largest lead of 23 points.

The Pacers demonstrated remarkable shooting accuracy throughout the game, converting 58 percent of their field goals and an impressive 61 percent from beyond the arc. Their effective field goal percentage stood at a high 68 percent, indicating their ability to score efficiently from all areas on the court. The team's true shooting percentage was also notable at 70 percent.


Indiana's performance in the paint was particularly dominant; they scored a total of 52 points in that area with an accuracy rate of 56 percent. They also capitalized on second-chance opportunities by scoring 13 points off them while maintaining a second-chance conversion rate of fifty percent.

Defensively, the Pacers managed to block three shots and steal the ball seven times from their opponents. They drew nineteen fouls which contributed to their free throw attempts where they made sixteen out of twenty-two shots for a free throw percentage rounded up to seventy-three percent.


Offensively, Indiana was led by strong bench contributions totaling forty-one bench points. Their possession control was evident as they only turned over the ball eight times during play while maintaining an assists-to-turnover ratio of three point five.

On the other side, despite being outscored, the LA Clippers put up solid numbers themselves with forty-six field goals made on fifty-four percent shooting and eighteen successful free throws out of twenty-two attempts for an eighty-two-percent free throw completion rate. They were able to gather more rebounds than Indiana with forty-three total rebounds including eleven offensive boards which helped them achieve fourteen second-chance points.
