Pacers Bull-Dozed in Chicago: Indiana Falls to the Bulls 99-125

The Indiana Pacers, with a record of 41-33, faced off against the Chicago Bulls, who held a record of 35-38. In a game that saw both teams fighting for every point, it was the Bulls who emerged victorious with a final score of 125-99.

The Pacers started strong in the first quarter, putting up 23 points against the Bulls' 27. However, they struggled to maintain momentum as they were outscored by seventeen points in the second quarter. Despite rallying back with thirty-one points in the third quarter and twenty-five in the fourth, it wasn't enough to close the gap created by Chicago's explosive offense.


Indiana's performance was marked by their ability to draw fouls and get to the free throw line where they made seventy-eight percent of their attempts. The team also showed strength from beyond the arc hitting thirteen three-pointers at a thirty-one percent clip. The bench contributed significantly with thirty-six points but this effort was overshadowed by turnovers which totaled thirteen for Indiana.

Defensively, there were challenges as well; despite recording four blocks and three steals during playtime, they allowed sixty points within paint and fifteen off turnovers. The defensive rating stood at an unfavorable 123.86 while their offensive rating was just over one hundred at 102.99.
