Can the Pacers' Paint Domination and Sharp Shooting Secure Victory at Scotiabank Arena?

In a high-scoring affair, the Indiana Pacers outperformed the Toronto Raptors with a final score of 140-123. The Pacers improved their season record to 46-34, while the Raptors fell to 25-54.

The Pacers showcased an impressive offensive display at Scotiabank Arena, with a field goal percentage of 54 and converting 70 percent from two-point range. Their efficiency on offense was evident as they amassed an impressive total of 140 points against the Raptors. Dominating inside, Indiana scored a remarkable 66 points in the paint from an attempted 46 shots, reflecting their strategic focus on close-range scoring.


Indiana's bench played a significant role in this victory by contributing a substantial 62 bench points to the team's total score. The team also capitalized on turnovers, scoring 21 points off turnovers throughout the game. With eight blocks and nine steals during playtime, Indiana's defense was active and disruptive against Toronto's attempts.

The three-point line was another area where Indiana excelled; they made 16 out of their attempted 45 three-pointers for a solid three-point percentage of about one-third successful shots. Their free throw performance was also steady with them making approximately seven out of every ten free throws attempted.


Rebounding was another strong suit for Indiana as they grabbed a total of 55 rebounds - fifteen offensive and forty defensive ones - which contributed significantly to their possession control throughout the game.


On Toronto’s side, despite being outscored by seventeen points overall in this matchup, they managed to draw more fouls than Indiana (23) and had slightly better success at free throws with around seventy-three percent made from thirty-three attempts. They were also able to put up seventy-six points in paint but struggled behind the arc with only twenty-four percent shooting accuracy from three-point distance.
