In an impressive display of offensive firepower, the Indiana Pacers outlasted the Oklahoma City Thunder at Gainbridge Fieldhouse. The Pacers' scoring was consistent throughout the game, with quarters tallying 31, 38, 31 and finally closing with 26 points. Their performance was bolstered by an effective field goal percentage of 61 percent and a remarkable free throw accuracy that reached 90 percent.

The bench played a significant role in this victory for the Pacers as they contributed a substantial total of 61 points to their team's effort. This depth proved too much for the Thunder whose bench added only 44 points. Defensively both teams were active; however, it was the steals and blocks that highlighted their efforts – each team recording eight steals while Indiana managed five blocks to Oklahoma City's six. Despite these efforts from both sides, it was ultimately Indiana's more efficient use of possessions that made the difference.

The three-point line also favored the Pacers as they shot an impressive rate from beyond the arc compared to their opponents' less effective performance from deep range. Moreover, when it came to scoring inside paint boundaries – another critical area – Indiana again outperformed Oklahoma City by making half-century marks against their opponent’s sixty-two.
