Indiana Pacers Outlast Cleveland Cavaliers in Double Overtime Drama at Rocket Arena

In a gripping encounter that saw the Indiana Pacers edge out the Cleveland Cavaliers 126-118, both teams showcased their resilience and determination. Pacers' Tenacity Shines


The Indiana Pacers displayed remarkable tenacity throughout the game. Despite trailing by as much as 27 points during the first half, they managed to claw back into contention with a strong fourth quarter performance where they scored an impressive 38 points. This surge was pivotal in forcing overtime against a formidable opponent like Cleveland.


Key contributions came from Quenton Jackson who led with 21 points and added six rebounds and four steals to his tally. His defensive prowess was instrumental in keeping pressure on Cleveland's offense. Additionally, Tony Bradley's presence in defense was felt with five blocks and fourteen rebounds which helped limit second-chance opportunities for the Cavaliers.

The bench also played a crucial role for Indiana by contributing significantly to their total score of 86 bench points. Aaron Nesmith provided valuable support off-the-bench scoring ten points while maintaining an efficient field goal percentage of fifty-seven percent.


Cavaliers' Strong Start Falters
