Did the Indiana Pacers' Fourth Quarter Collapse Seal Their Fate Against Oklahoma City Thunder?

First Quarter


The opening quarter saw both teams come out strong, but it was the Pacers who took an early lead. With impressive performances from key players like Tyrese Haliburton and Pascal Siakam, Indiana managed to edge out OKC by scoring 35 points compared to the Thunder's 34. Haliburton's playmaking abilities were on full display as he contributed significantly with his assists and scoring prowess.


Second Quarter


As the game progressed into the second quarter, both teams continued their offensive efforts. The Pacers maintained their momentum with contributions from Obi Toppin and Andrew Nembhard. Toppin was particularly effective inside the paint while Nembhard showcased his defensive skills by adding steals to his stat line. Despite these efforts, OKC managed to keep pace by scoring 23 points against Indiana's 25.


Third Quarter


In what proved to be a crucial third quarter for both teams, Myles Turner stepped up for Indiana with solid defense and timely rebounds that helped maintain their slim advantage over OKC. However, Shai Gilgeous-Alexander of OKC began finding his rhythm offensively which allowed them to stay within striking distance as they matched each other point-for-point; each team scored exactly 27 points during this period.


Fourth Quarter
