First Quarter

The game began on a high note for the Pacers, who took control early with an impressive offensive display. Andrew Nembhard led the charge with his dynamic playmaking, contributing significantly to Indiana's 39-point quarter. The team showcased efficient shooting and ball movement, allowing them to establish a commanding lead of up to 15 points over Boston.

Second Quarter

However, what went wrong for Indiana Pacers became evident in the second quarter as they struggled defensively against an explosive Celtics offense. The Green Machine responded fiercely by scoring 47 points in this period alone. Jaylen Brown was instrumental for Boston during this stretch, helping them overturn their deficit and take control of the game.

Third Quarter

In the third quarter, both teams traded baskets as they attempted to gain momentum. The Pacers managed to put up 30 points but were unable to close the gap significantly due to Boston's consistent scoring efforts. Bennedict Mathurin tried valiantly with his contributions from beyond the arc but found limited success against Boston's defense.

Fourth Quarter

Entering into crunch time in fourth quarter action saw little change; despite Indiana’s attempts at rallying back into contention through Pascal Siakam’s inside presence and T.J McConnell’s sharp shooting accuracy (83 percent field goals), it wasn’t enough against relentless pressure from C's who maintained their lead till endgame buzzer sounded off sealing victory favorably towards visitors side scoreboard tallying higher than hosts'.
