Pacers' Paint Points Vanish as Wizards Cast a Spell at Capital One Arena

The Indiana Pacers faced off against the Washington Wizards at Capital One Arena, resulting in a 131-118 victory for the home team. The Pacers now hold a record of 15-42, while the Wizards improve to 16-39. Despite their efforts, the Pacers struggled to maintain their lead and ultimately succumbed to the Wizards' offensive surge.

First Quarter


The game began with both teams displaying strong defensive plays. The Pacers managed to secure an early lead with a score of 27 points against the Wizards' 22. Jarace Walker contributed significantly with his defensive rebounds and assists, setting up opportunities for his teammates.


Second Quarter


In the second quarter, Indiana's offense came alive as they scored an impressive 41 points. Jay Huff was instrumental during this period, showcasing his shooting accuracy by making crucial field goals and contributing to Indiana's biggest lead of 15 points during this stretch.


Third Quarter


As play resumed after halftime, Washington responded aggressively in the third quarter by scoring another 35 points. The Wiz capitalized on turnovers from Indiana's side; Kam Jones struggled with ball control leading to multiple turnovers that allowed DC easy fast-break opportunities.


Fourth Quarter
