The game was a rollercoaster of lead changes and tied scores, with six lead changes and four instances where the score was even. The home team showed resilience, especially in a fourth quarter where they outscored their opponents by twelve points. Despite this effort, it wasn't enough to overcome the deficit accumulated earlier in the game.

The Grizzlies' performance was marked by a strong bench contribution that added 27 points to their total tally. They also showcased their defensive capabilities with seven steals and five blocks throughout the contest. On offense, they managed to match their opponents with both teams scoring 44 points in paint.

One notable aspect for Memphis fans was their team's efficiency from beyond the arc; they made fifteen three-pointers on forty-two attempts which translates to a solid thirty-six percent shooting from deep. Additionally, they were slightly more accurate than usual from free throw line hitting eighty-four percent of their shots compared to an average of seventy-seven percent across league.

On individual performances for Memphis Grizzlies, every player who stepped onto court contributed positively but none could turn tide against determined Toronto side that led for over thirty-seven minutes of playtime. The visiting Raptors had an impressive fifty-five percent effective field goal percentage and were able to convert eighty-two percent of free throws into points.

As for next steps for Memphis Grizzlies fans looking forward, all eyes will be on upcoming matchup against Los Angeles Lakers at Crypto.com Arena scheduled on January 5th at 7:00 PM Pacific Time. This game will be broadcasted nationally on ESPN (channel 206), as well as locally on SportsNet LA (channel 691) and BSSE (channel 649).
