Memphis demonstrated their ability to capitalize on turnovers by scoring 22 points off turnovers compared to Milwaukee's 16 points in similar situations. Additionally, the bench made significant contributions by adding a substantial number of points to Memphis's tally.

On defense, while both teams had relatively similar defensive ratings with Memphis slightly bettering Milwaukee's performance, it was perhaps the Grizzlies' ability to draw fouls that made a subtle yet impactful difference. They drew more fouls than their opponents which allowed them additional opportunities at free throws despite converting them at only about two-thirds rate.

The Bucks did not go down without showcasing their own strengths; they dominated inside with an impressive number of points in paint and maintained strong fast break efforts throughout the game. However, it wasn't enough to overcome Memphis’s consistent play across both ends of the court.
